Obituary for Gregory D. "Greg" Cunningham
FRANKFORT – Gregory D. “Greg” Cunningham, 47, passed away unexpectedly December 26, 2022, at his home. He was born August 2, 1975, in Bangor, the son of Lou Ann (Brown) and Andrew Cunningham.
Greg grew up in Frankfort, and graduated from Belfast Area High School, Class of 1996. He attended various day programs, including Citizens of Maine, in Northport. He enjoyed waffle blocks, beanie babies, lobster, and matchbox cars. His favorite time of year was Christmas. He was a very outgoing, social person. He had never met a person that he did not want to shake hands with, say “hi” to or give a hug.
In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his sister, Jodi Cunningham and her significant other, Trevor Kneeland; three half-brothers; a special nephew and nieces, Justin, Kelli and Chelsey; great-nephews and great-niece, Bentley, Leo, and Brooklynn; a large extended family; and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Elaine (Brown) Gray; and a special aunt, Millie Brown.
A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held in summer of 2023, at a date and time to be announced.
