Obituary for Diane Roderick
BANGOR - Diane Roderick, 83, passed away February 4, 2022, at a local health care facility from Alzheimer's disease. She was born July 1, 1938, in Lewiston, the daughter of Jeanette (St. Pierre) and Leo Faucher.
Diane grew up in Lewiston, and graduated from University of Maine, Class of 1960. She married Gil Roderick in 1960. She taught preschool and later worked with her husband at his business, Downeast Stamps, for over forty years and volunteered at the Attic. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards and watching the birds at her feeder.
In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her daughter, Heather Chubb and her husband, Wayne, of Orangevale, California; son, Scott Roderick and his partner, Melissa LeBlanc, of Glenburn; sister, Celeste Crowley and her husband, Joe of Durham; grandchildren, Carson and Owen Chubb, of Orangevale, California. She was predeceased by a sister, Louise Willauer, of Sacramento, California in 2016.
