BREWER -- David William Hanna passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, following a short illness.
David was born July 24, 1941, in Rochester, New York. He was raised and educated in St. Petersburg, Florida. After serving in the military in San Francisco, he raised his family and had a long career as a pharmacist in northern California.
David came to Maine in 1993. In 2004, he moved to Brewer, where he made many great friendships. He was happy to give back to his new community in a number of ways, including through service in the Brewer Historical Society. For his community service, he was recently honored by the Brewer City Council.
David loved life and his family. He truly cherished the little moments. He loved good food and good conversation, and going for rides in his little red sportscar.
David was predeceased by his wife, Shirley.
He is survived by his wife, T.C., as well as a sister, Heidi, and five stepchildren and their families.
