BANGOR - Charles Robert Barriault, 84, passed away unexpectedly June 8, 2022. He was born November 30, 1937 in Greenville, The son of Stanley and Marion (Simpson) Barriault.

Charlie graduated from Greenville High School, Class of 1958. He worked for Scott Paper and Great Northern Paper Mills until his retirement. He was married to Joan Rowe for 19 years with whom he had two sons, William and James. Charlie enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and snowmobiling with his family and friends while living at Moosehead Lake. Charlie also enjoyed mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and visiting with his neighbors.
The last 23 years of his life were spent in the Bangor area where he lived with his second wife, Marilyn of 20 years, and their two dogs, Jake and Ginger.

Charlie is survived by his sons, William and his wife, Teresa, James and his girlfriend, Alyssa; brother, Alphie; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Diana Nelson; and grandchildren, Heather, Danielle, William Jr. and Dariana. In addition to his parents Charlie is predeceased by his stepfather Bill Gordon, a special aunt Ada Simpson, and two grandsons, Darren and Aaron Barriault.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022, at Greenville Cemetery.
