Obituary for Candice A. Ayer (Bowers)
GLENBURN - Candice A. Ayer, 71, passed away February 2, 2022, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 7, 1950, in Canastota, New York, the daughter of Frederick J. and Audrey I. (O’Rourke) Bowers.
Candy loved her 27 time world champions, New York Yankees. She was an anchor to her grandson, playing tetherball, and getting him ready for the championships. She enjoyed gardening, being out in nature, and being at camp, having barbeques, while spending time with her family.
Candy is survived by her sons, John Ayer and his wife, Teri, and Todd Ayer; grandchildren, Justin Ayer and his wife, Katelynn, Marina Belcher, and Brantley Ayer; four great-granddaughters; and a new baby on the way.
She is now at peace with her beloved husband, Tommy Ayer, raising hell.
