Ann Chatfield passed away January 11, 2022. She was born April 8, 1935 at Hudson, Maine to Benjamin Cole and Clara Cookson Cole.

She was predeceased by husband and best friend George Raymond Chatfield. They were married in Glenburn, Maine on May 11, 1957. George built a home for them where they lived until 1975. They moved to Bangor for three years prior to moving to Tampa Florida in 1978.

Ann is survived by brother, David A. Cole and his wife Ernestine, five nephews, and grand nieces and a grand nephew. Ann was predeceased by sister Jean Cole Megquier and sister-in- law Betty Louise Chatfield.

Ann worked in private industry prior to employment with the federal government where she retired with 25 years of service.

Ann’s interests were playing piano, painting in acrylics and watercolor, reading and extensive travel in the U.S. and Canada. From early childhood, she had a special love for cats. She looked forward to every visit to their cottage on the coast in Milbridge, Maine. She loved both Maine and Florida and enjoyed having family and friends in both states.

She was a former member of Florida Art Guild, Student Art Club, Tampa Realistic Artists and the Life Enrichment Center.
